Will her promise to heal the man who’s captured her heart put him in danger? In Natalina Reis’s whimsical novel of spells, desire, and unwavering determination, a hot detective with a painful past and an impulsive witch armed with potent tea are linked by an instant connection and the promise of possibility.
Marcy has never been in love. But when Oliver Dawson walks into her store, she falls head over heels. Unable to shake the feeling that she and Oliver were made for each other, for the first time in her life, the quirky witch considers casting a love spell for herself.
Oliver’s life is turned upside down when he’s shot and almost killed. Even though events haven’t been kind to the sexy police detective, he’s determined to make the best of his situation. But still, nothing could have prepared him for feisty Marcy breaking down his defenses, nor the healing tea that leaves him gagging.
Unconventional and hell-bent on getting her man, the little witch soon weaves her magic and captures his heart. He’s more than willing to give it to her, but when faced with his painful and turbulent past, neither are sure they’ll get their happily ever after.

LAVENDER FIELDS
One angel to bind you, one angel to save you.

When he meets Caleb Pierce, Sky is immediately smitten. The problem is Caleb is the soul he came to earth to harvest, and saving him means breaking one of the most sacred angelic directives.
Already in too deep, Sky pushes aside the consequences and follows his heart. Danger and mayhem follow, but he will do everything in his power to protect his lavender-eyed man.

My grandfather was a volunteer fireman in Portugal, a lifetime ago. Our house was right by the fire station and we were often startled by the loud sirens calling all volunteers to the firehouse in the wee hours of the night. Avô Albuquerque was more of what I like to call—since I don’t know the real term—a “house fireman”. He didn’t actually go to the site of the event, but helped the others get prepared and took care of things while they were gone. Still, I remember watching through the window as many of the local men ran, often still in their pajamas, to report to duty at the fire station in the middle of the night. Selfless people willing to risk everything for no pay.
This year many firefighters, brave men and women, risked and even lost their lives trying to protect others from the flames. My tiny country, Portugal, was ravaged by fires this summer. Thousands of firefighters worked nonstop for days trying to save lives and the forests of the nation. Many, many thanks for your service.
And to all who, faced with terrible odds and life shattering events, never stop trying, never give up, I salute you. You’re an inspiration.
Grind N Crepe, your crepes rock! Food is always great inspiration for my stories. Even more when coffee is involved.
Thank you, Mom, Dad, and sis for believing in me even when I didn’t. Love you.
And a big thank you to my publisher, editors, and amazing beta readers. You’re amazing and I couldn’t have done it without you.
About the Author
Natalina wrote her first romance in collaboration with her best friend at the age of 13. Since then she has ventured into other genres, but romance is first and foremost in almost everything she writes. Her novel, We Will Always Have the Closet, is her first published romance.
After earning a degree in tourism and foreign languages, she worked as a tourist guide in her native country, Portugal, for a short time before moving to the United States. She’s lived in three continents and a few islands, and her knack for languages and linguistics led her to a master’s degree in education. She lives in Virginia where she has taught English as a second language to elementary school children for more years than she cares to admit.
Natalina doesn’t believe you can have too many books or too much coffee. Art and dance make her happy and she is pretty sure she could survive on lobster and bananas alone. When she is not writing or stressing over lesson plans, she shares her life with her husband and two adult sons.
